Fire II is a tier 2 elemental spell in Final Fantasy XI. An upgraded version of the original Fire spell, it deals Fire-based elemental damage to a single target. This spell is purchasable from vendors in Selbina or Windurst for 19,136 gil or less depending on Fame.
Fire II appeared as an ability in the original Final Fantasy XIV. At the initial release, Fire II was a spell learned by Conjurers at rank 24. The ability inflicted fire-elemental damage to all enemies within an area of effect. After patch 1.20, the Conjurer class loss the ability to use Fire II and the spell was replaced with the Thaumaturge ability Fira.
Fire II appears in the relaunch of Final Fantasy XIV as a Thaumaturge ability available at level 18. The ability deals fire-elemental damage to the target and nearby enemies. When the spell is cast, it grants the Astral Fire effect for 10 seconds and removes Umbral Ice.
In the Japanese version of the game, Fire II is called Fira.
