Like the Flan, they are highly resistant to physical damage and attack with a headbutt when the player is in range, but unlike the Flan, will cast Fire if the player is too far away, if the Fire Flan is picked up, or if the player is standing on the Fire Flan.
Casting Blizzard and/or slamming the Fire Flan against walls repeatedly is the best way to deal with them, assuming the player is quick enough to react and stay out of the way of their Fire spells. In a group of enemies, they should be dealt with last to avoid having other enemies stop the player from using the wall slam.
Flan is an open pastry or sponge cake containing a sweet or savory filling. A typical flan of this sort is round, with shortcrust pastry, usually coated with sweet syrup. It is similar to a custard tart or a South African melktert.
