Description on the official site.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Official Benchmark (Character Creation) is an official benchmark for the PC version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, released on August 1, 2013.
The demo of the character creation mode is included in the benchmark. The full benchmark is 2.57 GB in .ZIP format and requires 3.01 GB free disk space to install.
On April 27th, 2015, a newer benchmark program was released, featuring content from the first expansion, Heavensward.
The Benchmark Scores[]
Starting the benchmark will cause a cutscene to play. Once the cutscene has completed, a score will be displayed. The score represents how well Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is estimated to run on that PC.

Character Creation[]
When launching the character creation tool, the player may choose to create a new character or load existing character data. This data can also be loaded from the beta and retail versions of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and data from the benchmark can likewise be loaded into the final game, if the user would like to spend time creating a character before logging in to the game proper.
The player may choose to have the created character appear in place of the default male Miqo'te paladin in the benchmark cutscene.
