Since we are trying to create a comprehensive Final Fantasy database that is designed to be fan-friendly, it is not desireable to dump Wikipedia articles here and leaving them. In addition to creating a huge mess of an article, they prevent users from writing things from scratch. Our goals are very, very different from Wikipedia. Wikipedians are more than welcome to edit, bring in material, and help rewrite articles. However, when articles are shamelessly dumped it looks very poorly on this Wiki and on this Wiki's regular editors who come in day in and day out to fix things. Please help us out in this regard.
- If you dump an article, please put Template:De-wikify on it.
- Please do as best you can as to make the article more fan friendly. We're not a place for lists and mass merging for mergism's sake alone. Add gameplay cruft. Add notable conjecture. Do things you're not allowed to do at Wikipedia. Just make sure the article maintains its tone while doing it.
- Expand the article. Put as much cruft and subtrivia in as you desire.
- Remove all Wikipedia-based templates, such as reference templates.
- Be advised that we don't release our content under the same license Wikipedia uses. They use the GNU Free Documentation License, while we use the more commonly used Creative Commons license.
