Final Fantasy Wiki:Be a fan and not a fanboy

We are all fans of Final Fantasy, and that's nothing to be ashamed of! When we edit the Wiki, we do so as fans of the series. We communicate to each other as fans.

However, when we edit, we need our edits to have some degree of professionalism. We're not Wikipedia, and their strict professionalism policies do not apply here. However, there have been many cases on fan wikis in which editors often make edits which seem, well, not informative and often include bias. We tend to avoid that in the main namespace. Everything in the main namespace should be informative and not give personal opinion. A big exception is made, of course, to posting gameplay strategy, which is, of course, suitable for inclusion here (after all, Final Fantasy is a series of video games first and foremost, right?).

However, your Userpage is different. You can be as much of a fanboy there as you like.
