Blobra is a Triple Triad card in Final Fantasy VIII used to play the minigame and for turning into items with Quezacotl's Card Mod. Blobra is the fifth card in the inventory, a basic Level 1 Monster Card.

Being a Level 1 card, the card values on the Blobra are not strong, its strongest being the 5 on the left. Its value placement may also be useful for games that use Same and/or Plus.

Obtain[]

The Blobra monster has a 3.5% chance to drop the card. Using the Card command on a Blobra has a 93.7% chance to procure a Blobra card when it succeeds.

Any AI Triple Triad player who uses Level 1 cards has a chance of using Blobra in a play, from where the player can win it in a card match.

Card Mod[]

Four Blobra cards refine into a Rune Armlet with Quezacotl's Card Mod ability. Rune Armlet can be used to teach Spr+20% to a Guardian Force, which can be useful to speed up Shiva's development especially as it is possible to amass Blobra cards as well as Card Mod early on. Rune Armlets can also be refined into Shell spells and Shell Stones.
