Oblitzerator is a boss in Final Fantasy X. It is a machina weapon commanded by the Al Bhed and is fought by Tidus, Lulu, and Kimahri on a ship leaving from Luca Dock No. 4 after the Al Bhed Psyches kidnap Yuna. It fights by shooting blitzballs at the party.

Blitzball Rush.
There is a one-in-three chance that Oblitzerator will counter with a barrage of blitzballs. For physical attacks, the counter causes Darkness; for magic, they cause Silence; for special attacks, such as Overdrives, it will inflict Sleep. On its turn, Oblitzerator will use Blitzball Rush, which randomly hits the whole party for high damage.
Tidus will notice a crane on the deck, which needs to be hit with Thunder three times before he can use a Trigger Command to activate it and remove Oblitzerator's top half, lowering its HP to 1/16th (a maximum of 375) and preventing it from using Blitzball Rush or its counterattacks. The battle can be difficult if the crane isn't used, as Yuna is not available to heal the party or call an aeon, and the Oblitzerator's Agility increases to 16 when below 2,000 HP and again to 26 when below 500.
Strategy[]
Tidus should cast Cheer for his and Kimahri's Strength, and use Haste on Lulu so she can unleash many Thunder spells. She should use Focus a couple of times to ensure the Overkill.
