Land Worm (ランドウォーム, Rando Wōmu?), also known as LandWorm and Landworm, is a recurring enemy in the Final Fantasy series.

Final Fantasy VI[]
Landworm is an enemy fought in the final dungeon, as well as in the Dragons' Den and as a possible opponent in the Dragon's Neck Coliseum by betting the Radiant Lance (to attempt to win a Mutsunokami). It fights by using Hailstone, Magnitude 8, and Constrict, and boasts high HP for the area it is initially fought in. It is weak to Ice-elemental attacks and is vulnerable to Instant Death and Stop. It is one of the few sources of X-Potions, although it is a rare steal.
Final Fantasy VII[]
Land Worm is enemy fought at Corel Prison desert area. It fights using Sandstorm and Earthquake, and has high HP. It is is weak to Ice-elemental attacks while absorbing Earth-elemental attacks and halving Gravity-elemental and Fire-elemental attacks. It is the earliest source of Turbo Ethers, being its steal, while it drops Ethers and can be morphed into Fire Fangs.

Land Worm is an enemy fought at the Abandoned Mako Reactor as well as during "Mission 5-2-3: Experiment No. 109". It attacks with a powerful physical attack and the Gravity spell, but is easily interrupted by all manners of attacks. It is weak to Ice-elemental attacks and immune to Poison and Silence.

Land Worm is an enemy fought at the Kiera Desert on the Outer Continent. It fights using Sandstorm, Demi, and Maelstrom, and can teach the Blu Mag ability Matra Magic. It is the only enemy to appear in the desert.
Final Fantasy X[]
Land Worm is a rare enemy fought in the final dungeon, Inside Sin, after the point of no return. It has incredible HP and power, and attacks with the usual Swallow, Regurgitate, and Earthquake along with a regular physical attack. It is notable for being among the few enemies outside of the Monster Arena that can give the player Dark Matter through bribing.

The Landworm appears as an obtainable SR monster. It is an Earth-elemental monster whose type is Burst, class is Beast and its specialty is Attack. Its hero tech is Sandstorm which fires missiles diagonally. Its leader bonus is Breath of the Earth which increases Earth damage dealt by 50%. Its auto-effect is Earth Damage -15% which reduces Earth damage taken by 15%.

Land Worm is an enemy fought at Wintry Cave. It fights using Scrunch, Quake, and Quicksand much like its earlier version, but is weak to Earth-elemental and Axe attacks.
