The Flare Gigas is an enemy from the Dawn of Souls and Anniversary versions of the original Final Fantasy. It is a rare enemy encountered within the deepest levels of the Whisperwind Cove resembling Mount Gulg. In the Anniversary version, the Flare Gigas can also be encountered more commonly in the Labyrinth of Time.
The Flare Gigas is the strongest Gigas and has no particular elemental affinity. The party should simply use its strongest attacks to defeat it.
