The Snow Crab is a boss from Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. It is located in the Falls Basin and attacks with two Desert Hags. Benjamin and Phoebe must defeat it to access the Ice Pyramid.

Despite its name Snow Crab is actually not weak to fire, but Benjamin can inflict large damage to it with his axe. It is the first boss to use an attack that inflicts a status ailment, in this case, Confusion.
It has three phases. At first it raises its left claw in a menacing manner, but as it takes damage bubbles form around its mouth and its body is damaged.
Etymology[]
The crab species known as Chionoecetes is prevalent along the North Pacific and North Atlantic Coasts, and goes by several names, including Snow Crab.
