Elfadunk is an enemy from Final Fantasy VII fought on the world map near the Chocobo Farm, and in the fifth round of the Battle Square before the player obtains the Tiny Bronco. When fought in the Battle Square its stats are enhanced with double the normal HP and its Attack and Magic Attack are increased by 25%.

For better or worse, their Shower attack always inflicts the Sadness status. They have Hi-Potions the player can steal, although it is more efficient at this point in the game to get them from the Mythril Mines.

When two Elfadunks appear alongside a Chocobo, the Chocobo will be a Lv16 Chocobo, and thus suitable for learning the Chocobuckle E.Skill.

Etymology[]

Elfadunk, which would be more accurately translated as "Elephadunk", is portmanteau of the English words "elephant" and "dunk".
