The Skuldier, also known as the Skull or Skulljar, is an enemy in the Final Fantasy series.
Appearances[]
Final Fantasy I[]
An enemy found in the bonus dungeons added in the Dawn of Souls and future remakes. It is a palette swap of the Skeleton enemy, which pays tribute to the Skuldier monster from Final Fantasy IV. They are not very difficult enemies to defeat due to their low HP.
Final Fantasy IV[]
They frequently appear in Eblan and its caverns. They usually come in groups of five or groups of three and are quick to cast Thundara on the entire party.
Final Fantasy IV -Interlude-[]
An enemy that can be found in the Mt. Hobs area.
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[]
It is a decently powerful foe for when it is fought, and will generally attack with strong physical attacks. If left alone, it will constantly use Thundara, which deals less damage normally than its physical attacks. Fire-elemental weapons and abilities, such as Fira or Flame, are advised in defeating groups of Skuldiers.
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest[]
Skuldiers are an enemy type and the strongest of the skeleton-type monsters, and inhabit the Giant Tree and the basement of Focus Tower. They are one of the first enemies to use Fatal attacks.
