Great Dragon (ドラゴングレイト, Doragongureito?, Dragon Great or グレートドラゴン, Gurētodoragon?), also known as GreatDragon, Great-D, or Dragon 4, is a recurring enemy in the Final Fantasy series.

The Great Dragon is an enemy encountered in the Interdimensional Rift and the Sealed Temple. It attacks with the Earthquake ability, which causes earth-elemental damage to all party members, and will occasionally use the Blue Magic spell Flame Thrower. Great Dragon is susceptible to Level 3 Flare.

Final Fantasy VI[]

The Great Dragon is an enemy encountered in the Advance and 2014 Matrix Software versions, fought in the bonus dungeon Dragons' Den. Great Dragons are a more powerful version of the Dragon enemy.

Final Fantasy XIV[]

The Great Dragon is an enemy encountered in Deltascape V3 Deltascape V3.0 and its Savage version. They are summoned by Halicarnassus, and like the rest of the raid tier are a reference to the Final Fantasy V Great Dragon.
