The Earth Plant is an enemy in the Dawn of Souls and many succeeding versions of the original Final Fantasy, bar the Android version or Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster. Although it is a palette-swap of the Ochu and Neochu enemies, and as its name hints, it is not of the Water element. Earth Plants are found in the deepest levels (B31–39) of the Whisperwind Cove in the levels resembling the Flying Fortress. Unlike its predecessors, the Earth Plant boasts a higher amount of HP. It is straight-forward to defeat.
