Delita then entrusts Ovelia to Ramza, who in turn entrusts her to Cardinal Delacroix. Unfortunately this would prove much too convenient for the church, which sought to use Ovelia as a tool to gain control over the kingdom after Duke Larg and Duke Goltanna saw to each other's destruction amidst the chaos of war.
