However, his plans to assassinate the princess failed thanks to Delita, and he was thus promptly forced to part from Ramza's company.

He was the son of Besrudio Bunansa, a brilliant machinist famed for the creation of mechanical weaponry. Mustadio and his father found the Taurus auracite while at an excavation site in the clockwork city of Goug. Although he initially joined Ramza and his companions in hopes of freeing his captive father from the clutches of the Baert Trading Company, he eventually found himself fighting for their cause. Mustadio's aim with the pistol was so infallible and deadly that in some situations, it was necessary for him to refrain from shooting altogether.

It is unknown how the Juggler--or is it Jugglers?--became two creatures following its awakening. The two creatures are completely synchronized, allowing them to fight foes in perfect unison. Although its acrobatic feats and sweet smile make it seem adorable, there is something unsettling about the fact that it never displays any other emotions.

Shortly after the War of the Lions commenced, the Church of Glabados fed false information to Duke Goltanna claiming that his old friend had become a traitor, which resulted in Orlandeau being imprisoned in Fort Besselat.

Although Ovelia had been adopted by the king as his own daughter from an early age, she was forced to spend most of her life in a distant monastery away from her family. After the king's passing, Duke Larg and Duke Goltanna instigate a war for the rights of succession, and it is thus decided that Ovelia shall be taken to the latter's duchy of Gallionne for her safety. However, Goltanna's forces along with a supposed knight manage to kidnap her whilst attempting to flee Orbonne Monastery.

Ovelia is the target of an assassination attempt by Duke Larg, a supporter of Prince Orinus, but is saved during her escape of Orbonne Monastery thanks to Delita and his valuable intel of the enemy's plans. Delita then entrusts Ovelia to Ramza, who in turn entrusts her to Cardinal Delacroix. Unfortunately this would prove much too convenient for the church, which sought to use Ovelia as a tool to gain control over the kingdom after Duke Larg and Duke Goltanna saw to each other's destruction amidst the chaos of war.

The king adopted Ovelia as his daughter at the suggestion of the council, which sought to leave Queen Louveria with as little power as possible. Following the king's passing and the eruption of the War of the Lions, Duke Goltanna places Ovelia on the throne as the new ruler, but only in name. And thus begins her sorrowful life in Zeltennia Castle, where she attempts opening up to Delita. However, she can never shake off the feeling that he only means to use her just as everyone else before him.

Although Ramza is set on preventing the war from escalating even further, the appearance of the mystical auracite only serves to lead Ramza into the thick of the battle.

This tragedy would lead him to part ways with Ramza, and send him down a path in which nobles would no longer be able to manipulate him. Determined to realize his new ambitions, he joins the Church of Glabados and poses as a knight of the Order of the Southern Sky to kidnap Princess Ovelia from Orbonne Monastery.

As a member of the Church of Glabados, Delita joins forces with Duke Goltanna in order to pave the way for the War of the Lions. However, this would all ultimately lead to his assassination of both Orlandeau and Goltanna as per the wishes of the church.

Eventually she learns of the conspiracy enveloping Ivalice, and of the dark beings known as the Lucavi behind it all. Once the battle against the Lucavi begins, Agrias fights them alongside Ramza.

Whether Gaffgarion's words originated from a genuine concern for his country, or just to carry out his mission, remains unknown.

	A woman who appears in the tales of holy stones known as auracite in the distant world of Ivalice. Meliadoul is a Knight Templar in service of the Church of Glabados, and as thus was entrusted with the Sagittarius auracite. However, neither her nor her younger brother Isilud knew about the power hidden within the auracite, believing it to be a peculiar stone at best. Following the death of her brother in Riovanes Castle, she swears revenge upon Ramza, whom she believes to be his killer.

Although Ramza attempts to explain to her that Isilud was killed by the legendary Lucavi demons, she refuses to accept this until she witnesses Marquis Elmdore turn into a Lucavi while in Limberry Castle. Having seen the truth with her very eyes, she joins Ramza in his fight against the demons of legend.

Meliadoul is the daughter of Folmarv, a member of the Knights Templar who have been manipulating the course of history from the shadows. However, she was ignorant to the fact that her father was playing host to a Lucavi demon, as well as to the mysterious power hidden within the auracite. Once she clears up her misunderstanding with Ramza in Limberry Castle, she begins to suspect her father's erratic behavior and joins Ramza on his battle against the Lucavi. Meliadoul eventually confronts her father only to find that her fears are well-founded, as he confirms that he is indeed possessed.

An astrologer affiliated with the Knights of the Southern Sky, Orran excels at gathering information and analyzing it, as well as at devising highly efficient tactical plans. As he makes his way through the Mining Town of Gollund, he is saved by Ramza after being cornered by several thieves.

When Orlandeau is accused of treason and taken captive at Riovanes Castle, Orran enlists the help of Ramza to rescue his imprisoned father.
