Final Fantasy Creatures

Final Fantasy Creatures are lines of fixed-pose figurines manufactured by Square Enix around the summon and enemy characters of Final Fantasy. Figurines are made in PVC and averaged in size around 3.5” (90mm) in height. The original Creatures collections, first introduced in 2001, were available in Japan as "blind-box" packages and came in 3 different versions: Full Color, Metallic, or Crystal (clear). International versions were released in individual "blister" packaging and were of a somewhat lesser quality than the originals.

The Final Fantasy Creatures Fan Books, manufactured by Kotobukiya, contained full color pages featuring detailed images of figures from the Creatures series as well as information on other titles. An exclusive figurine was also included. Only two were ever released.

In 2006, the Master Creatures label, also known as Master Monster Creature Collection, was introduced. Compared to the original Creatures, these figurines were of a larger size, averaging around 6” (152mm), and were individually packaged in all releases.

In 2009, the Creatures Kai label was introduced, released once again as "blind-box" packages with only Full Color versions. Each volume consisted of 5 listed characters and one secret character. International versions released as 5 figure box sets, leaving out one of the figures released in Japan.

In 2018, the Creatures Bring Arts label was introduced. Unlike previous releases, these were poseable figures with some including interchangeable hands and props such as weapons and stands.

Released in 2003, this figurine, considered part of the Creatures collection, was available exclusively at 7-Eleven stores. It came in the standard three different versions: Full Color, Metallic, and Crystal.
