Cooler Leech refers to a series of four bosses from Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. They are part of the boss Cooler Mammoth, and form its tentacles.
The Cooler Leeches can cast Blizzara and can buff the Cooler Mammoth with Shell. If the Leeches are killed, the Cooler Mammoth will regenerate them. The easiest way to deal with them is to have Porom group-cast Silence on them, disabling their spells so they can only use physical attacks. A subsequent group-cast of Slow will cripple them further, drastically reducing the difficulty of the fight.

- In the PSP version released as part of Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection, the Octo-kraken and its tentacles switch their color schemes with the Cooler Mammoth and its tentacles—the purple Octokraken became red and the red Cooler Mammoth became purple. Both enemies are restored to their proper colors for the iOS release.
