The Moogle Girl is a minor supporting character from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, recognizable by the moogle doll she carries. The character is never named, but is referred to as "Moogle Girl" or "Moogle Kid" by Square Enix staff.[1] She is credited as "Girl" during the end credits.
The Moogle Girl's role is expanded in Advent Children Complete, to reveal that her moogle doll once belonged to her little brother who died of Geostigma. Learning that Denzel also suffers from the condition lets her bond with him. She wears a white shirt with a black one-button cardigan over it, dark gray pants, a black bracelet on her right wrist, and black shoes. She has brown hair in pigtails and brown eyes.

Moogle Girl is with her sick brother in an alley as other children run pass them. She gets splashed in the face by water, but continues to stare out into space. She tends to her ailing brother by wiping a tear off his face and smiles at him. The moment is interrupted when they witness a man dying from Geostigma, causing Moogle Girl to cover her brother's eyes.
Later, while she is carrying her now dead brother through the streets, Moogle Girl is knocked down by a man in front of 7th Heaven. He attempts to help her up, but accidentally touches her brother's Geostigma and recoils in disgust before storming off as spectators look on. Witnessing her humiliation, Denzel picks up her brother's doll to return it to her, only for her to grab it and push him away. She looks up at him in tears, puts her face into the doll, and leaves. She later reappears to Denzel and apologizes for her previous behavior before thanking him for his help and telling him about her brother. Knowing that he also has Geostigma, she takes Denzel to Yazoo who has promised to cure the children.

During their journey to the City of the Ancients with Yazoo, Denzel asks the Moogle Girl if she knows who will cure them, and she admits she doesn't. At the Forgotten City Kadaj turns the Moogle Girl, Denzel, and the other children into puppets controlled by Sephiroth to find Jenova's head. The children are brought back to Edge where they congregate around the Meteor monument until they snap out of their stupor and regain their senses. After Cloud defeats Sephiroth and Aerith releases healing rain from the sky, Moogle Girl's Geostigma is cured.
Phones ring around Edge and everyone runs out into the streets. The Moogle Girl meets Marlene and accompanies her and Denzel to Aerith's church. When Cloud materializes in the church, she tells him, "It's just like she said. Wait here and Cloud will come back." Once Denzel is also cured of Geostigma, Moogle Girl and the other children rejoice and play with Cloud.

In the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children -Reunion Files- for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Tetsuya Nomura credits the Moogle Girl's presence in the film as helping boost the sales of real-life moogle dolls.[1]
There is a moogle doll similar to the one the Moogle Girl has in the movie in Episode INTERmission in Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.

Moogle Girl is voiced by Rina Mogami in the Japanese version.
The Moogle Girl is voiced by Andrea Bowen in the English version, who would go on to replace Mena Suvari as the new English voice of Aerith in Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- and Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy.
Etymology[]
The moogle's Japanese name, Mōguri (モーグリ), is a portmanteau of the words for mole (土竜, mogura?) and bat (蝙蝠, kōmori?). "Moogle" is the localized version of Mōguri, losing the pun, though "moogle" has started to appear in Japanese sources as well.
