Gippal is a boss in Final Fantasy X-2 fought in the Den of Woe in Chapter 5 if the player collects all the Crimson Spheres.

Battle[]
It is recommended to start the battle by using a Light Curtain to cast Protect. It is also wise to carry a lot of Mega-Potions, Mega Phoenixes, and Remedies.
The party should focus on heavy physical attacks along with the Dark Knight's Black Sky, if available. Before finishing him off, it is advised to recover the party as best as possible as Nooj is fought directly after Gippal. Gippal is the only enemy in the game to use the Blue Bullet ability Mortar.
Fiend Arena[]
Gippal also appears in the Youth League Tournament in the Fiend Arena. He is much stronger than he was in the Den of Woe and sometimes appears alongside Nooj and Baralai.
