The Fenrir is a special enemy in Final Fantasy X, created in the Monster Arena when at least three of each Lupine-type Fiend has been captured.

Like the lesser Lupines, Fenrir is very fast and agile and can evade most normal attacks and counter-attacks. His three moves are all single-target: Fangs of Ruin is a normal attack for physical damage; Fangs of Chaos, which reduces the HP of the victim by 90% and inflicts Confuse; and Fangs of Hell, which is an Instant Death move against both normal characters and Aeons. Fangs of Hell can be avoided with a high evasion stat or a weapon with Evade and Counter, but high Luck levels are also needed to avoid the other two attacks. The most difficult obstacle to overcome in the battle is Fenrir's ridiculous speed.

Fenrir uses the same character model as the Bandersnatch.

Fenrir drops 3 - 4 slotted armors that will include 2 - 4 of the following attributes: Zombieproof, Slowproof, Silenceproof, Deathproof, Confuseproof, Stoneproof, Sleepproof, Poisonproof, and Darkproof. Very useful armors against many enemies in the game, indeed.

Fenrir also drops 3 - 4 slotted weapons that include 2 - 4 of the following attributes: Zombiestrike, Slowstrike, Silencestrike, Deathstrike, Stonestrike, Sleepstrike, Poisonstrike, and Darkstrike. By the time the party is strong enough to defeat Fenrir, these weapons may not be terribly useful.

This monster is also based on the myth of the Norse Gods, it grew rapidly and chains couldn't bound the beast.
