The Fauregandi Front is a theater of the Crystal War in Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess. Although it is the smallest territory in the conflict, Fauregandi is a critical stepping stone in the struggle between the Alliance of Altana and the Beastman Confederate. As the entrance to the Northlands of Quon, it acts as a buffer between the Shadow Lord's seat in nearby Xarcabard and the nations that oppose him.

The post-war Fauregandi region includes the entirety of the front.

ZoneEdit

Beaucedine GlacierEdit

The Beaucedine Glacier is the frozen battlefield on which Fauregandi's fate is decided. With Ranguemont Pass blocked, the glacier is accessible only from Batallia Downs to the south. Ignoring the mysterious ruins of Pso'Xja and Fei'Yin, Alliance soldiers scale Beaucedine's cliffs as they press west toward the Confederate capital.

The Dark Kindred dedicate a Gargouille battalion to the defense of the glacier. Their leader, Shadowwing, soars above its enemies and peppers them with area-effect magic.
