BS Exorcist
Undo what is done and return things to a prior state.
—Job menu description

The Exorcist (エクソシスト, Ekusoshisuto?) is an asterisk that appears in Bravely Second: End Layer. It is obtained after defeating Geist.

The Exorcist is a unique job, with the ability to revert a target to a prior state, as if nothing happened to it, with their Exorcism abilities. The Undo abilities they use have countless uses, negating enemy attacks or heals for example. Their innate ability is Undo Trois, which extends the range of Undo abilities to up to three turns ago.

EtymologyEdit

In some religions, an exorcist is a person who is believed to be able to cast out the devil or other demons. A priest, a nun, a monk, a healer, a shaman or other specially prepared or instructed person can be an exorcist. An exorcist is a person who performs the ridding of demons or other supernatural beings who are alleged to have possessed a person, or (sometimes) a building or even an object.

The innate ability Undo Trois is a pun on the French un, deux, trois (one, two, three).
