The bottom-left Erebus has inherent Reflect and absorbs all eight elements, so only physical attacks and certain spells can damage it. The bottom-center Erebus is vulnerable to Death attacks. The bottom-right Erebus is weak to all eight elements and vulnerable to many status effects, and is easy to kill with almost any type of spell. The upper-right Erebus can inflict Zombie status. Hidon will revive them after four to seven turns of being alone.
The player should kill the upper-right Erebus first for its Zombie-inflicting skills. The party should cast Death on the bottom-center Erebus to dispatch it quickly. Collectively, the best way to kill the Erebus is to cast Ultima, if the player has learned it — it will likely do high enough damage to kill all four Erebus in one cast.

[view·edit·purge]In Greek mythology, Erebus was often conceived as a primordial deity, representing the personification of darkness; for instance, Hesiod's Theogony places him as one of the first five beings to come into existence, born from Chaos.
