Template:Sideicon Elemental Magic is a type of Black Magic that generally evokes one of the 6 major terrestrial elements to do damage to another creature; however, there are a few elemental spells that also grant negative status ailments on targets. This also describes the skill which is used to calculate the likelihood a spell will be cast successfully, whether it will be resisted, and damage dealt of an elemental spell is calculated in Final Fantasy XI.
