Eden is the name of the capital city of Cocoon in Final Fantasy XIII. It is mentioned in the Tokyo Gameshow 2009 trailer and the web novelization "Final Fantasy XIII Episode Zero: Promise".
During the trailer, Jihl Nabaat talks to Sazh Katzroy about erecting a monument to Eden with the crystallized Dajh Katzroy as its centerpiece.
It is told in the web novelization that Serah Farron is intending to attend to Eden's university.
