EtymologyEdit

"Edea" is a female name with French and Australian origins.^[1][2] It may also be derived from a Greek goddess called "Medeia" (Latinised as "Medea") who was a sorceress; her name also means "cunning" somewhat complementing the role of Edea Kramer from Final Fantasy VIII.^[3]
