The Dwarven Hollows (ドワーフの洞窟, Dowaafu no Doukutsu?), also known as Dwarf Cave, is the underground home of the dwarves in Final Fantasy III. Many greet the party with a hearty "Lali-ho!" When they first arrive, but the dwarves are concerned about the stealing of one of the Horns of Ice from the sacred shrine and point to Gutsco as the thief.

The inn here charges 80 gil. The dwarves' treasury contains equipment for Scholars and Knights, as well as some regular items, but the treasury cannot be accessed until the party returns the Horns of Ice to the dwarves.

StoryEdit

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. (Skip section)

Gutsco the Rogue has stolen one of the Horns of Ice from the dwarves, fleeing with it to the Subterranean Lake. The Light Warriors chase him, as asked by the dwarves, and are able to defeat him, retrieving the Horn. As they return to the dwarven village to place the Horn of Ice back, Gutsco, who followed the warriors ever since his defeat, takes the chance and steals both Horns, this time running to the Molten Cave.

After defeating Gutsco once and for all at the Molten Cave, the dwarves reward the Light Warriors with their treasury. Upon leaving the settlement, a resident from the town of Tokkul rushes into the cave, pleading for the help of the Warriors of Light.
