Drill (ドリル, Doriru?) is a recurring piece of equipment in the series. Originally one of the abilities from the Tools command, it has since appeared as its own weapon in other games in the series, and also has appeared as high-ranking helmets, referring to its power as the strongest equippable helmet in its original game via the Sketch bug.

Final Fantasy VIEdit

VI Drill is an item that can be bought at Figaro Castle for 1,000 gil after the Narshe battle or stolen from Fortis. As long as there is a Drill in the inventory, Edgar will be able to use the Drill ability.

Final Fantasy Crystal ChroniclesEdit

FFCC Drill is an artifact that raises Defense by 1, and can be obtained from Veo Lu Sluice during Cycle 1.

Dissidia Final FantasyEdit

Dissidia Drill is a level 96 machine helmet that provides -307 HP, +411 Bravery, Chase BRV Damage +30%, and has a 5% chance to break accessories that can normally break after battles. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 15,960 gil, Mallet, and five Behemoth Horn x5.

Dissidia 012 Final FantasyEdit

Dissidia012 Drill returns as a level 100 machine helmet that provides -595 HP, +409 Bravery, Chase BRV Damage +30%, and Accessory Breakability +5%. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 91,400 gil, Mallet x3, Gear Collection, and Gunner's Desire x5.
