Added by InpursuitThe Dragqueen is an enemy unit in the PS1 version of Final Fantasy Tactics who can be encountered randomly in the first level of Midlight's Deep, called the NOGIAS (The Crevasse). The Dragqueen appears as a male Time Mage, but will scream like a female when KOed. The player can recruit the Dragqueen using Orator's Entice or Invitation. After the Dragqueen has joined the player's party, Dragqueen's sprite will change to a female Time Mage, but retains the male portrait.
This particular character is essentially a female unit, meaning the Dragqueen has access to the female-exclusive equipment and the Job Class Dancer, rather than the male-exclusive Job Class Bard. If the Job is changed to Dancer, the Dragqueen's sprite and portrait will use the Bard's set with the Job Command Dance.
It is unknown whether the presence of the Dragqueen is a bug or an Easter Egg, but it was corrected for the The War of the Lions version suggest it was a bug. Either way, this phenomenon does not seem to be hazardous.
