Dragon Grass (飛竜草, Hiryūsō^?) is a plot device in Final Fantasy V. It is first heard of at the town of Carwen, where a traveler tells Bartz and his allies about it. It is later found by the player at North Mountain, where Lenna risks her life by crossing the poisonous grass to obtain it. However, the Wind Drake refuses to eat it so Lenna eats it first to prove it is edible. However, Dragon Grass is poisonous to humans and she becomes even more ill. Finally the Dragon eats. Lenna is healed later in the events of the game.
