Diffusion is a Merit ability for Blue Mages level 75 and higher in Final Fantasy XI. It allows a Blue Magic enhancing spell to affect all party members in range.

• Grants the effect of the next support Blue Magic spell cast to all party members within range.
• Obtained: Blue Mage Level 75
• Recast Time: 20 min (-2:30 for every additional merit)
• Duration: 1 min, or until the next enhancing blue magic spell is cast.
• Affects only enhancing blue magic spells and may only be applied to the user.
• Area of Effect is centered around the user.
• Fully merited, the minimum recast of Diffusion is 10 minutes.
• Spells cast after Diffusion also affect the user's Adventuring Fellow, but not other party member's fellows.
