Final Fantasy VI description

Diamond Plate (ダイアのむねあて, Daia no Muneate?), also known as Diamond Chestplate, Diamond Cuirass, Glass Hauberk, or Diamond Vest, is a recurring light armor in the Final Fantasy series. It is a decently powerful armor that provides resistance towards Lightning-elemental attacks, much like its heavier version, the Diamond Armor.

Description

The Diamond Cuirass is the strongest light armor in terms of raw Defense. It provides 43 Defense, -5% Evasion, 5% Magic Defense. It can be found in Castle Palamecia or dropped from Wizard, Lamia Queen, and Orukat.

Final Fantasy V[]

Plate armor resistant to lightning.

Description

Diamond Plate is a mid to high-ranked light armor that provides 13 Defense, 2 Magic Defense, 4 Weight, and gives resistance to Lightning-elemental attacks. It can be bought for 6,000 gil at Moore or dropped from Calofisteri.

Final Fantasy VI[]

Diamond Vest is a high-ranked light armor that provides 65 Defense and 44 Magic Defense. It can be bought for 12,000 gil at Nikeah, South Figaro, Kohlingen, and Thamasa in the World of Ruin, or stolen from Devoahan and Cloudwraith. It can be equipped by all characters except Strago, Relm, and Umaro.

Description

Diamond Chestplate is the second strongest armor for Vaan, providing in its base form 81 Defense, 54 Magick Defense, and +15 Magick. it can be bought in the Sky Saloon in Chapter 9 for 24000 gil.

Diamond Armor is a Light Armor obtained by crafting it using 4,800 gil, x20 Gaia's Tears, x8 Otherworldy Bones, x5 Dragon Scales, x3 Mythril Ores, and x2 Adamantite Lumps. It provides 54 DEF.

In mineralogy, diamond is a metastable allotrope of carbon, where the carbon atoms are arranged in a variation of the face-centered cubic crystal structure called a diamond lattice. Diamond is the birthstone for April.
