Cid: Oh, shut up and help me remodel the Devout (Final Fantasy III) page!
Please expand this article into a full one. This can be done by making a 2D and 3D weapon/armor table like here. Equipment stats do not belong here since the weapons/armor should link to their respective list of Final Fantasy III weapon/armor page.. This request can be discussed on the associated discussion page.
Devouts are casters who have mastered white magic. They can use all white magic spells, so make sure to always have one in your party!
The bearer of this certificate wields ultimate control over the healing arts and is deemed worthy of the title of Master Devout.
—In-job mastery certificate description
The Devout(導士, Doushi?, lit. a person of high morals; a Taoist), also known as the Shaman, is a Job class in Final Fantasy III. It is gained from the Earth Crystal. Devouts can cast all White Magic spells. They also possess higher MP for high-level White Magic. Devout is considered to be a powered-up version of the White Mage job.
The Devout can cast every White Magic spell in the game, making them very useful. They also have balanced MP growth. As with the Warlock (Magus) job class, the Sage job class is superior to the Devout job class, having access to both Black Magic, White Magic, andSummon Magic.
