Delay Attack

Delay Attack is an ability in Final Fantasy X. It pushes back the target's upcoming turn while physically attacking and allows the player a few more actions before the enemy moves. It costs 8 MP to cast. An upgraded form called Delay Buster is also available. Appropriately, it is found in Tidus's section of the Sphere Grid, as many of his abilities deal with time.
This ability is fairly unique in function with regard to the series, as Final Fantasy X does not use the more common ATB system. A few abilities in Final Fantasy Tactics are similar, such as the Orator's Stall ability.
