The Defender is a recurring Job, exclusive to Bangaas in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift. Like their name implies, they are traditionally hired as escorts due to their great endurance in engagements. Defenders have potent close range attacks like Mow Down and Tremor and self-healing and damage prevention abilities such as Aura and Bulwark.
