The Death Machine is an enemy in Final Fantasy VI. It is a very dangerous enemy, and uses various Instant Death attacks, such as Death, Blaster, and Lv 5 Death, which it casts at the beginning of every battle. Their special attack Mind Stop inflicts Stop. Like most machines, it is weak to Lightning and Water, so Thundaga spells are most effective against it.

The Death Machine can be fought in Dragon's Neck Coliseum by betting a Regal Gown. Their Instant Death attacks can instantly end the battle, but an easy way to win is to equip the character with a Reflect Ring - when the Death Machine casts Death, it will be reflected and the Death Machine will kill itself with its own spell.
