Darlavon

Master Darlavon (ボーアダム ダーラボン Bōadamu Darabon), also known as Professor Bordam Daravon, is a guide to the world of Final Fantasy Tactics. He is known as one of the participants of the Fifty Years' War, but in truth, he does not have any battle experience. Darlavon is in charge of teaching players about the gameplay, as well as keeping record of the Brave Story biographies and histories. He is 58 years old and is a Virgo.
Darlavon's lines are among the worst-translated in the original Final Fantasy Tactics; some shining examples are, "Items being used are items used in battle," and, "This was the darkened items won't appear."

- An Orator's Speechcraft skill called Mimic Darlavon inflicts Sleep to a target. This might indicate that one can easily fall asleep while listening to one of Darlavon's lectures. This can also be referenced from his first name, Bordam(Boredom).
