Template:Sideicon The Dark Wolf is an enemy in the Dawn of Souls and succeeding versions of the original Final Fantasy. It is a palette swap of the Wolf. The Dark Wolf is found in the deepest levels (B21 onwards) of the Whisperwind Cove. They often appear in groups alongside enemies such as the Elm Gigas.

Like its predecessors, the Dark Wolf is not that powerful despite its high Agility. A strong multi-targeted spell is enough to wipe out an entire group of them.
