Dark Rider

Naja Salaheem is the first person to bring the Dark Rider to player's attention in the quest for promotion to Superior Private. Players must seek out and find a hoof-print of the Dark Rider, the only character in the game depicted as riding a horse.
In truth, the Dark Rider is actually Odin, and can be found in the final chamber of the high-level dungeon Einherjar. It is unknown at this time as to whether or not Odin will become a player summon.

They say that the underworld is his battleground, where he fights for all eternity...
The rrrumor [sic] goin' round is that this knight from the legend is s'posed [sic] to show up somewhere in the Empire.
I mean, I didn't believe a word of it at first.
But the tales coming out of the marketplace are just to many to ignore...
They say he rrrides [sic] a warhorse bigger'n [sic] a marid...
And he obliterated a group of Mamool Ja with a single slash of his spear...
The Empire can't ignore the sheer number of witnesses anymore, and has been on my back to send someone out to investigate.
Course [sic], I know they just don't wanna waste their prrrecious [sic] Immortals on a job that might turn out to be a fairy tale...
In any case, I want ya to go out there and find some evidence that this Dark Rider rrreally [sic] exists.
You get your hands on some decent prrroof [sic], and I bet the Empire'll be willin' to rrreward [sic] ya for it. Ya got your orders!

The Dark Rider appears in the game, randomly spawning in a few zones and relatively quickly disappearing. He is not known to be aggressive, never-the-less, he can be fought. If attacked, the Dark Rider will summon two other creatures, a Demon (AKA: Kindred) Dark Esquire and an Imp Dark Bugler. This trio may have shared hate. In any case, the Dark Rider is known to be able to cast Death, instantly killing players with enough bravado to attack him. There has been no confirmation that anyone from any server has beaten the Dark Rider and/or his entourage, making him one of the most powerful enemies in the game thus far.
