The Dark Knight is a job in Final Fantasy Dimensions as a Warrior of Darkness exclusive job. It is obtained during the finale of the "A Blessing in Disguise" chapter.
The Dark Knight uses swords and heavy armor as their main equipment. In the chapter the job is introduced in, the Dark Knight's dark sword weaponry are the key to defeating enemies that revive themselves upon being KO'd, however this mechanic does not return to the game outside of this chapter. The Dark Knight's only drawback is that its dark swords deal 0 points of damage to undead enemies and heal enemies that absorb dark-elemental damage.
Using their Dark Blade command, the Dark Knight will usually be required to sacrifice themselves in a manner to deal stronger damage or increase their damage output to enemies. Among their arsenal includes the recurring Darkness ability, which allows them to deal powerful damage in exchange for some of their HP; and the Last Resort ability that places the Doom status on the user to increase all their base stats. In addition, the job is also able to learn the strongest dark-elemental physical attack, Ebony Slash.
Aside from their Dark Blade skill set, the Dark Knight can learn some decent passive abilities such as Backliner, which allows the Dark Knight to deal full damage when in the back row; and Absorb HP, which allows the Dark Knight to absorb a portion of the damage inflicted by the default Attack command.
In addition, the Dark Knight abilities are required for the creation of fusion abilities that deal dark-elemental magic, with the only natural dark-elemental magic attack being the Diabolos summon.
The party is clad in the armor of a dark knight.

black knights, were a minority group of knights who refused to serve lords or kings. Instead they either looted and raided, hunted bounties, or lived off the charity from the more humble folk, in much the same manner as a Japanese ronin. As they had no master, and thus no squire, they would paint their armor a signature black color to prevent rust and damage. Dark knights were considered by many a necessary evil, as they would protect villages and lesser people from invaders and bandits, but would also cause problems in the regions they dwelt in to sustain themselves.Dark knights, also known as
