Dark Elf (Final Fantasy)

The Dark Elves are a race from Final Fantasy. They are somewhat related to the Elves inhabiting Elfheim, and their leader is Astos.
In addition to Astos, the Warriors of Light fight some Dark Elves as regular enemies. Dark Elves come in two forms: the Dark Wizard and the Dark Fighter. Despite the Dark Fighter's name, both types of Dark Elf are magically inclined.
A Dark Elf also appears as a boss in Final Fantasy IV, bearing a slight resemblance to Astos.
