Dark Aspic, also known as Radiator, is an enemy in Final Fantasy V. It drains the party's HP with Vampire, which targets one party member at a time and can be learned as a Blue Magic. Dark Aspics typically manifest in pairs or groups as large as six. Though highly resistant to physical hits (but not enough to negate damage entirely), they can be destroyed with a single Fire Scroll or other group-effect, fire-based attack. Level 5 Death destroys them in one hit, and they are also susceptible to Level 4 Graviga and Level 2 Old.

Etymology[]
The English word aspic is borrowed from French aspic, from Latin aspis, and possibly influenced by French basilic ("basilisk").
Aspic refers to a dish in which ingredients are set into a gelatin made from a meat stock or consommé.
