FFD - Dancer

The Dancer is a job in Final Fantasy Dimensions obtained at the end of the third Tome of Darkness chapter from the shards of Matoya's Crystal Eye, and is exclusive to the Warriors of Darkness.

Appearance[]

The Dancer job class gives all Warriors of Darkness stylish clothes. Nacht wears an outfit suited for Latin dancing: an open blue jacket with nothing underneath, black trousers, and a red sash. Diana wears a blue cocktail dress with a green sash and a flower in her hair.

Overview[]

Once obtained, the Dancer is purely a support-focused role, though they have decent Intelligence and Mind, allowing them to use magical skills should they be equipped. They equip light armor emphasizing evasion. Much of their armor and headgear come with status-boosting bonuses, namely to strength, speed, and vitality. Cure Waltz and Heal Waltz allow them to substitute as a healer, with Osmose Dance allowing them to use their expensive dances regularly. As the story progresses and Bosses become immune to Slow, the Dancer is indispensable in slowing them with their Slow Minuet. Offensively, the Dancer is lacking until the end-game when Sword Dance is unlocked. Dancer offers little in terms of Fusion Abilities, but one in particular stands out: Phantom Rush. Properly supported, Phantom Rush can be as strong as Final Heaven, though a Ninja with Sword Dance can be just as potent with less investment. Counterintuitively, a Dancer's usefulness can be further enhanced by purposefully slowing them down. A BDancer's status dances last until their turn gauge refills, meaning a deliberate casting of Slow can extend the duration of their dance, saving MP.

Statistics[]

The guest character Matoya has the same stats as the Dancer job, plus her own stats' growth.
