Battle
It uses a variety of powerful magic attacks, including Gravity, Bio, Lv.5 Death, and can Poison party members with Venomist. As with most undead enemies it is weak to Fire and Holy, so Firaga, Holy spells and Holy-elemental also work well.
Daedalus never uses its Venom Tusk attack, rendering it a dummied feature.
Coliseum setup

Place Mog in the back row to lower damage, and equip the Paladin's Shield/Flame Shield, Snow Scarf, Reflect Ring, and Safety Bit. The Paladin Shield/Flame Shield will take care of Flare Star and Dancing Flame; Snow Scarf, along with an appropriate helmet, will bring Mog to 255 Defense, which will take care of physical attacks. Safety Bit will take care of Blaster, while Reflect Ring will take care of Flare. Holy Lance is a good offensive weapon for hitting Daedalus's weakness. Daedalus also has relatively low MP, so it'll run out quickly, preventing it from abusing Flare.
