ConsumablesEdit

PotionEdit

A potion made by decocting several medicinal herbs that grow in the wild and then dissolving the resulting mixture in cure water. This easy-to-make potion is a staple remedy found in many homes.

Restores 150 HP to the drinker.

Hi-PotionEdit

A potion made by decocting miraculous herbs, both medicinal and non-medicinal, that grow in remote regions, and then dissolving the resulting mixture in a cura solution.

Restores 500 HP to the drinker.

X-PotionEdit

A sacred potion made by collecting the morning dew that forms on crystals, soaking a charm in it, and adding mending mushrooms, therasprouts, and shoots of the panacea plant that only grow within the temples, and then combining it with a curaga solution.

Restores 1,500 HP to the drinker.

Phoenix DownEdit

A mystical item said to be made from the feathers of the phoenix, a mythological bird from the dim, distant past. The item itself is from the land of Wa, which vanished centuries ago.

Revives an incapacitated (K.O.) target.

EtherEdit

A tonic made by dissolving wind drake wing, alraune petals, megalodon fang and treant root in an aspir solution for five weeks, then extracting the clear fluid that accumulates at the top.

Restores 40 MP to the drinker.

Turbo EtherEdit

A tonic made by decocting wind drake tears, mandragora petals, chomper juice and treant fruit for six weeks and then diluting it with an aspir solution.

Restores 150 MP to the drinker.

ElixirEdit

A concoction that has been prized as a wonder drug since ancient times. There are a number of ways to prepare it, but the ruling powers and Orthodoxy have kept them ever secret from the common folk.

Restores all HP and MP to the drinker.

MegalixirEdit

A strange concoction even more mysterious than an elixir. In ancient times, it is said its miraculous restorative powers even more it an object of of worship.

Restores all HP and MP to the entire party.

AntidoteEdit

At the bottom of these leaves is herbal medicine containing poisonal, a substance that instantly counteracts almost all forms of poison in the body. It tastes as bitter as drinking poison.

Relieves the target of poison.

Eye DropsEdit

Eye drops consisting primarily of pure distilled water in a small vial. Its primary use is flushing foreign objects out of the eyes, but it is also effective for bloodshot eyes, eye fatigue, and pollen allergies.

Relieves the target of blind.

Echo HerbsEdit

An herbal medicine used with minimal preparation. The leaves are ground up and swallowed to cure throat ailments.

Relieves the target of silence.

Wakeup BellEdit

A magical bell that rings loudly and violently to wake even the deepest of sleepers. It is very popular among adventurers, especially those who have trouble getting up in the morning.

Relieves the target of sleep.

BalsamEdit

An ointment made by kneading together several types of herbs. When applied to the base of the throat of victims of the dread state, it will immediately calm them and relax their breathing.

RemedyEdit

A powdered medicinal compound that contains small doses of medicine for each of the status ailments.

Relieves the target of various status ailments.

Bomb FragmentEdit

A portion of a bomb, a creature that went extinct back in the Age of Myths. It has been completely dried out and wrapped tight. No one really knows if it is really made from a bomb, but the effect is real enough.

Deals moderate fire damage to all enemies (or allies).

Bomb ArmEdit

The right arm of a bomb, a creature that went extinct back in the Age of Myths. It has been mummified and a cursed sigil placed upon it. It has the slight smell of gunpowder, but its effect is guaranteed.

Deals major fire damage to all enemies (or allies).

Antarctic WindEdit

An ice crystal that never melts. It is found in the Antarctic, where it is said to form when Luxendarc enters an ice age. Raising it up and chanting causes a fierce, cold wind to shoot forth.

Deals moderate water damage to all enemies (or allies).

Arctic WindEdit

A frozen substance known as cryocorelite that was cut from the heart of a gigantic ice mass floating in Luxendarc's arctic sea. Raising it up and chanting causes a blast of freezing wind to shoot forth, freezing everything in its path.

Zeus's WrathEdit

A sphere of lightning said to contain the wrath of Zeus, father of the gods and ruler of the world in the Age of Myths.

Deals moderate lightning damage to all enemies (or allies).

Pantheon's WrathEdit

A metal sphere of roaring thunder that is said to contain the wrath of countless gods from the Age of Myths.

Deals major lightning damage to all enemies (or allies).

Tengu YawnEdit

A small vial containing the yawn of a tengu, a supernatural flying creature from the land of Wa, a mysterious island nation that vanished centuries ago.

Deals moderate wind damage to all enemies (or allies).

Tengu SneezeEdit

A strange gourd containing the sneeze of a tengu, a supernatural flying creature from the land of Wa, a mysterious island nation that vanished centuries ago.

Deals major wind damage to all enemies (or allies).

Earth DrumEdit

A conch shell containing the thunderous sound of the Titans, a race of giants that are said to have opposed the gods in the Age of Myths.

Deals moderate earth damage to all enemies (or allies).

Earth MalletEdit

A cowry shell containing the impact of a hammer blow from the Titans, a race of giants that are said to have opposed the gods in the Age of Myths.

Deals major earth damage to all enemies (or allies).

Gold HourglassEdit

An hourglass filled with glittering gold sand from the Celestial Realm. When raised to the sky, its contents burst forth, robbing the target of its color and time.

Applies stop effect to all enemies (or allies).

StardustEdit

Summons a group of meteors wandering the galaxy to rain down on the designated target.

Effect of comet on target.

Light CurtainEdit

A barrier of light that embodies the bitter cry of an old wizard who lost the one he loved because of his abuse of powerful magic. It reflects all magic.

Applies reflect effect to target.

Lilith's KissEdit

A kiss from the goddess who was transformed into a hideous monster after her children were killed by the jealous wife of the man she loved.

Effect of aspir on the target.

Bacchus's WineEdit

A fiery drink of a man known as the God of Spirits in the Age of Myths. It causes the imbiber to fly into an uncontrollable rage and attack all opponents.

Can be used in compounding.

Beast LiverEdit

The dried and shrunken liver of a beast. Even so, it is still about the size of a fist. It is carried around on a cord that has been passed through a hole made in one corner. It is extremely bitter and used in restoratives, among other things.

Hard ScaleEdit

A transparent scale about the size of a man's palm. Annual growth rings can be seen faintly, numbering about 250. When struck with a metal rod, a hard, clear sound lingers in the air for a little while.

Insect AntennaEdit

A winding insect that looks like a giant fern. It is covered with fine hairs, and when shaken, glowing scales like those from butterfly wings flutter down endlessly.

Can be used in compounding.

Monster FiberEdit

A strange fiber that never dries out, even after being cut off for several years. No one knows what part of the creature it comes from, but the eerie pattern that flickers upon it is quite disturbing. Surprisingly, it gives off a nice smell.

Can be used in compounding.

Spirit BoneEdit

The bone of a noncorporeal spirit, which is strange because it should not have a physical form. It is nearly invisible until held up in the sun, at which point its shape is just barely discernible.

Can be used in compounding.

Demon TailEdit

A thick tail covered in tough hair. The end of the tail is hooked and moves from time to time. It takes some time to get used to this creepy item.

Dragon FangEdit

A long, fat, point, calcified mass that people claim to be the fang of a dragon. It is hollow and makes a rattling sound when shaken. Cracks can be found here and there across its surface.

PhlogistonEdit

A strange substance in a suspicious-looking sealed flask. It is said that the substance is released when burning some sort of material, but exactly which material remains a mystery.

Can be used in compounding.

PermacrystalEdit

An extremely cold crystalline body that is formed from giant snowflakes and never melts. Each one has a unique shape, but is always about the size of a man's palm.

Can be used in compounding.

Fairy WingEdit

A transparent wing made of a delicate material as colorful as stained glass. It is exceedingly light, resilient, and beautiful, but has a slightly offensive odor.

Can be used in compounding.

Fulmen ShardEdit

A hard mass that looks like a bolt of lightning frozen in time. Care must be taken when handling it, as its edges are extremely sharp and it packs a powerful electrical charge.

Can be used in compounding.

Desert RoseEdit

A type of sand crystal that only forms in the Harena Desert on the night of the summer solstice. It has a strange stickiness that causes it to form rose-like shapes when blown by the desert winds.

Can be used in compounding.

GlitterbugEdit

A jewel beetle said to have inhabited the land of Wa, a mysterious island nation that vanished centuries ago. It was used in artworks and handicrafts, and was traded for it's weight in gold.

Can be used in compounding.

Dark MatterEdit

A strange that does not reflect light and, therefore, cannot be directly observed. Its shape, however, can be discerned by the light it blocks behind it. It is contained in a celestial wine glass that has been tightly sealed.

Can be used in compounding.

Teleport StoneEdit

A strange mineral also known as memory stone. It memorizes the quickening of the pulse that happens at the entrance of a dungeon, and then when its user raises it up and chants later on, it instantly takes up the entire party back to that spot.

Returns to dungeon entrance.

WeaponsEdit

SwordsEdit

BroadswordEdit

A sword mass-produced by a simple manufacturing method that integrates the blade, guard, and hilt. Its simple, broad blade is designed to be easily wielded, even by weaker individuals. It is a popular weapon for self defense thanks to its adequate length and ease of use.

Long SwordEdit

An iron-forged, mass-produced sword that has proven itself on the battlefield as the standard weapon of issue for troops from many different lands. The blades available to the common folk, however, tend to be dulled, and leave something to be desired for a seasoned warrior.

Mythril SwordEdit

A sword forged by a famous sword-maker using Eisenberg-mined mythril ore smelted at an extremely high temperature. While the blade length is on the short side due to mythril being so precious, it is far sharper than iron swords.

ScimitarEdit

A slender, curved sword believed to have originated in the Harena region. this cruel weapon is well suited for carving chunks off an enemy with each swing of its beautifully bowed blade. This makes it the favored weapon of brigands and pirates.

Sleep BladeEdit

A slender sword made from a special metal that emits a sleep-inducing agent when it reacts to blood or body heat. It was originally intended for self-defense, but production was halted after these swords started falling into the wrong hands.

DefenderEdit

A thick sword made for both high attack power and ease of defense. Simply equipping it slightly raises Defense. This make is an effective weapon for raising the Defense of those ill suited for using shields.

Ice BrandEdit

A word forged from rare metals cold as ice that is mined from the Eternian permafrost. It adds a water effect to slash attacks, making it highly prized for eradicating monsters susceptible to water and ice.

ZweihanderEdit

A large steel sword bearing a name that means "two-handed sword" in the language of Eisenberg. Thanks to its length and weight, this weapon is more often used in bold attacks seeking to crush the bones of enemies rather than simply slashing them.

FlametongueEdit

A sword imbued with the power of fire by the extended tempering of its mythril steel blade in Eisenberg's magma. It beautiful blade seems to like ripple like fire, but as soon as it is swung, it bursts into flame, allowing its wielder to deal a fire effect with each slain.

ExcaliburEdit

A legendary sword bearing the inscription, "Whosoever draws this sword shall be the rightful king". The boy who drew it from the stone did ultimately become king after a series of adventures. Its blade is imbued with the power of light, making it well suited against foes with the power of dark.

Rune BladeEdit

A mystical sword with ancient runes inscribed on its blade. It is imbued with wondrous magic power that raises its wielder's magic attack. This makes it the perfect blade for those who combine sword-based melee combat with magic attacks.

ClaymoreEdit

Said to have once been used by giants, this huge weapon of the Norende region bears a name that means "great sword." Its massive size and weight make it difficult to wield, but its terrible destructive power makes it a favorite of mercenaries and other warriors who pride themselves in their strength.

Blood BladeEdit

A slender magic sword into which a legendary master blacksmith forged the black magic Drain by request of a certain patron. Upon seeing the blade, the patron is said to have gladly purchased it, leaving with the cryptic words, "This is positively vampiric!"

Chaos BladeEdit

A legendary magic sword said to have been bestowed upon a wicked priest by an evil god of chaos back in ancient times. It had been hidden away in the Orthodoxy's treasure vault, but sensing its dangerous power, Yulyana took it and sealed it away.

Night EmperorEdit

A rare sword that has been steeped in a special aphrodisiac that charms those it cuts. Forged by request of a few eccentric dilettantes, its rarity makes it an extremely pricey weapon.

DurandalEdit

The renowned sword of the legendary hero Roland. Its name means "eternal blade." Of all the weapons Yulyana took from the Orthodoxy, Durandal is said to have been the most perilous, but try as he might to destroy it, he failed to cause so much as a scratch.

AxesEdit

Mythril AxeEdit

A double-bladed axe that a stalwart blacksmith forged from mythril steel mined in Eisenberg. The use of rare and precious mythril necessitated a rather small axe head, but its keen edges can cut through plate armor with ease.

TomahawkEdit

A small axe widely used both for warfare and everyday chores, including hunting and chopping lumber. While it has slightly lower Accuracy and Critical Rate than other weapons. It can easily deliver a heavy blow from its weighty head.

Viking AxeEdit

An unrefined but practical axe for battles onboard ships. A favorite of pirates, its duel axe heads make it easy to wield, even in chaotic battles. It deals the most damage against aquatic monsters.

Flare HatchetEdit

A small axe imbued with the power of magma. Although it is mentioned in the myths concerning Eisenberg's founding and images of it can be found graven into ruins through the land, no one has ever laid eyes upon it or knows the secrets behind its foraging.

Cross AxeEdit

A sacred axe said to have been wrought through divine guidance to banish evil during the long battle between man and demon that was waged in the dim, distant past. It deals high damage to demonic monsters.

War AxeEdit

An forged in the best possible shape for use in battle.

Designed by a famous weaponsmith in Florem, its handle features wave-like patterns and other embellishments that speak to the playfulness of the people of that land.

Giant AxeEdit

A massive, single-bladed axe said to have been favored by a legendary race of giants. It is extremely thick and heavy, and its terrible destructive force is only matched by the terrible difficulty of wielding it.

An amusing legend tells of how it was once used as a ship anchor back in the Golden Age of Piracy.

Heavy AxeEdit

An incredibly heavy double-headed axe forged by a team of five stalwart blacksmiths. Thick and durable enough to withstand a point-blank cannon blast and sharp enough to chop down a ship's mast in a single swing.

Grinder AxeEdit

An infamous magic axe said to sow fear among mortals. Its name derives from an ancient parable about tenacity and determination—the story of a block of metal the size of an axe that was crafted and polished into the finest needle.

Death AxeEdit

Rumored to be a great axe that could exorcise the sins and sicknesses that infest the mortal world. A terrible curse said to be capable of eradicating all heathens and heretics is graven upon its gigantic crescent-shaped blades.

EarthbreakerEdit

An oddly shaped, double-headed axe that the gods bestowed upon the race of giants. It is said that they showed their allegiance to the gods by using this axe to carve the Sky Continent from the earth. This mighty axe can rend earth, bore through bedrock, carve out stone, and smash geological formations.

SpearsEdit

SpearEdit

A simple weapon consisting of a sharp metal point at the end of along shaft. Spears and other polearms like them add a power modifier when attacking multiple foes at once.

Mythril SpearEdit

A spear with a sharp tip and blades underneath. It was forged by a master smith from mythril steel mined in Eisenberg. Though its beautiful shape often results in this weapon being put on ceremonial display, it makes for a powerful weapon with deadly potential on the battlefield.

Valkyrie HalberdEdit

A winged spear fashioned after those wielded by mythical women warriors. Though designed by a famous weapon designer of Florem critics call it difficult to use. It truly shines when used in jumping attacks, but only a chosen few can draw upon its full potential.

HalberdEdit

A polearm with a small axe blade below its spearhead, and opposite that, a bladed hook, enabling the weapon to be used for slashing, thrusting, striking, and hooking. Even today, where soldiers are heavily armored and cannon use has spread throughout the lands, halberds are a common weapon of many armies.

GlaiveEdit

A polearm believed to have originated when some sort of blade or knife was affixed to the end of a long shaft. Refined through the ages, it came to resemble a large, bladed spear tip that even neophytes of the battlefield could wield with deadly effect.

TridentEdit

The legendary three-pronged spear believed to have been wielded by the sea god in the mythical age before the advent of Crystalism. Its three-pronged tip is imbued with the power of lightning, allowing it to add a lightning effect to each attack.

Cross SpearEdit

A cross-shaped spear fashioned after the weapon wielded by a hero of Wa, an island nation that vanished centuries ago. It is imbued with the divine power of exorcism, allowing it to deal devastating damage against undead creatures.

Lü Bu's SpearEdit

The crescent, halberd-like weapon favored by Lü Bu, the legendary "Flying General" and great warrior who rode a crimson steed capable of traveling a thousand leagues a day.

Holy LanceEdit

A legendary weapon revered as a holy relic by the Crystal Orthodoxy, which believes it is imbues with divine power. The Orthodoxy uses it to stage miracles. Each attack adds a light effect.

Crimson SpearEdit

A spear of the land of Wa, an island nation that vanished centuries ago. Its bright red shaft was the symbol of the mightiest warrior of a clan, capable of staining the silvery spearhead with the crimson blood of his foes.

LonginusEdit

The fateful spear that a soldier is said to have used in the execution of a legendary prophet who was the savior of his people but was eventually captured by the land's occupiers who feared his influence. It is said to be a holy relic because it was bathed in his blood. It deals special damage against aquatic monsters.

GungnirEdit

A throwing spear from northern mythology that the god of death and war is said to have used to herald the outbreak of war and the death of enemies. It has the almost mystical power of always hitting its target and then returning to its thrower's hand.

RodsEdit

RodEdit

A small, short staff employed by common clergy and mages in simple rituals and for other uses. A jewel is mounted at the tip to heighten its bearer's magic power.

Mythril RodEdit

An exquisite rod with a head of high-grade Eisenberg mythril fashioned by a veteran craftsman. When equipped, it raises magic attack more than normal rods, which is why it costs slightly more.

Rod of FireEdit

A rod crowned with a jewel imbued with the power of fire. When equipped, it raises magic attack and the effect of fire attacks.

Rod of IceEdit

A rod crowned with a jewel imbued with the power of ice. When equipped, it raises magic attack and the effect of water attacks.

Wizard's RodEdit

A rod that raises magic attack more effectively than conventional rods. Invented and developed in Eternia and then successfully mass produced using the advanced technology of Ancheim.

Poison RodEdit

An accursed rod crowned with a crystal of powerful venom refined by a Netherworld cleric living in seclusion in an unknown land.

Lilith's RodEdit

The rod said to have been used by Lilith, a night demon and bringer of nightmares who appears in the many myths throughout the ages. She is said to come at night in a beautiful guise to slay children and expecting mothers.

Wonder RodEdit

A rod inadvertently created by a famous craftsman of magic items who served the Crystal Orthodoxy. Considered to be a failure. It can evoke a variety of black magic on command, but the wielder cannot name the target.

Demon's RodEdit

A rod brimming with tremendous magic power, wrought in the form of a musical instrument of a barbarian tribe, said to be capable of communicating with demons. It is one of the magic weapons Yulyana took from the Orthodoxy and sealed away.

MaceEdit

A bludgeoning weapon made from thick steel plates fashioned into across shape and attached to a handle. It is effective against armored foes, but equipping it does not boost magic attack. This weapon was developed so black mages could join battles when they want to conserve MP.

Ogre's ClubEdit

A mace fashioned in the likeness of the weapons said to have been wielded by the ogres of Wa, an island nation that vanished centuries ago. Though it is much smaller than the weapon of legend, it is still extremely heavy.

Battle MaceEdit

A bludgeoning weapon made from a spiked iron ball attached to a handle. This cruel weapon delivers both bludgeoning damage thanks to its weight and piercing damage from its spike.

Hammer MaceEdit

A simple, hammer-like mace that armies have been using since ancient times as both a tool and a weapon. Besides combat, it is used for driving stakes into the ground, building encampments, and battering down gates and other obstructions.

StavesEdit

StaffEdit

A staff made from a branch imbued with spirit power. It raises mind and boosts the user's magic attack and healing magic. Staves add a power modifier when attacking multiple foes at once.

Mythril StaffEdit

A staff crowned with a large piece of mythril that has been refined using a special technique. The mythril's magic power dramatically raises mind.

Jade CrosierEdit

A staff crowned with a ring of jade imbued with with Spirit Power. It is said to have been carried by priests from an island nation that vanished from the pages of history centuries ago.

Staff of LifeEdit

Imbued with the power of healing, this staff was developed through the white magic studies conducted at Everlast Tower. Raising it up and chanting bestows the cure effect on desired targets.

Yggdrasil StaffEdit

A staff with a surface layer of wood from Yggdrasil, which is believed to grow somewhere in this world. The staff is imbued with great Spirit Power and exorcism power. Raising it up and chanting bestows the esuna effect on a single target.

Gale StaffEdit

A beautiful staff imbued with the Spirit Power of wind. Long held by the vestals of the Temple of Wind, it was lost several generations ago when it was lent to the King of Ancheim, straining relations between the temple and royal family to this day.

Demon's StaffEdit

A dark staff said to be imbued with the power of a demon feared by mortals long before the advent of Crystalism. The menacing power ceaselessly emanating from this staff is believed to add a dark effect to its attacks.

Sage's StaffEdit

A miraculous staff that a great sage long ago is said to have imbued with the power to resurrect the dead. Raising it up and chanting bestows the raise effect on a single target.

Oaken PoleEdit

A quarterstaff made from the branch of a hardwood tree. This long, unrefined bludgeoning weapon does not deliver any added effects, such as increased Spirit Power. It makes a good weapon for monks well-versed in its use and for white mages who want to participate in combat while conserving MP.

Simian StaffEdit

A quarterstaff fashioned to resemble a legendary weapon said to have been used by the Monkey King. It does not lengthen and contract at will as told of in legends, but it is an unexpectedly effective weapon.

Iron PoleEdit

An incredibly heavy yet flexible quarterstaff made from a bundle of steel rods, wrapped in several layers of thin steel sheets. This long bludgeoning weapon is strong enough to easily snap an ordinary sword in two.

Diamond StaffEdit

A quarterstaff formed by crystalizing diamond powder by means of a special technique. It is revered for its beautiful form and often used for ceremonial purposes. While not as hard as actual diamond, this bludgeoning weapon still manages to be highly flexible as well as durable.

DaggersEdit

DaggerEdit

A common, double-edged dagger. It is one of the most popular self-defense weapons thanks to its light weight, ease of use, and low price.

Mage MasherEdit

A miraculous dagger that seals magic, developed to counter the fierce attacks of the Lontano Mage Legion during Caldisla's ancient war of unification. The method of its making has been lost, but those unearthed on ancient battlefields are being restored and used once more.

Carving KnifeEdit

Though it may look like a regular kitchen knife, it is far from it. This single-edged knife is said to have belonged to the masked namahage monster from a festival event of an island nation that vanished centuries ago.

KukriEdit

A curved knife used by a small tribe that lives in the tropics. Its main uses were limited to hunting and foraging, but an arms trader who discovered its bloody potential brought it to Harena as an instrument of war.

Iron BowEdit

A simple bow made of iron. It is tightly drawn, but due to its low flex, high Attack cannot be expected unless the user is quite strong. This makes it difficult to use, but it has the potential to deliver a great deal of damage to flying targets.

A longbow with a reasonable amount of flex, thanks to the thin plating of Eisenberg mythril steel carefully wrapped around an inner steel frame. It has the potential to deliver a great deal of damage to flying targets.

Composite BowEdit

A bow reinforced with a combination of materials that may include animal horn, tendon, bone, and different kinds of wood. This not only strengthens the bow, it raises its flexibility, allowing it to deliver even greater force with each arrow.

BucklerEdit

A small, simple shield used in melee combat. It is commonly made from wood or leather and has an iron guard at the center. It addition to blocking blows, it can be thrust out at opponents.

Round ShieldEdit

A large shield made of tough leather stretched over a round frame. The hard metal rivets attached to it can cause the tips of enemy swords to snap off when they get stuck in the wood.

Mythril ShieldEdit

A beautiful shield made from overlapping sheets of mythril steel from Eisenberg. This latest in shield design exploits the tremendous repulsive force that separate pieces of mythril steel have when subjected to an impact.

Cross ShieldEdit

A large, oval-shaped shield. It is adorned on the top, bottom, right, and left with crystal runes, and covered with a silver coating. This type of shield has been adopted by the knightly orders of many lands that defend the Crystal Orthodoxy.

Spiked ShieldEdit

A shield designed to inflict maximum injury on attackers. It is surrounded by spiked blades and has a big metal spike in the center. Small, spiked-shaped rivets are arranged around the central spike.

Yggdrasil HelmEdit

A helm said to be made from the bark of the legendary Yggdrasil, but the only part that actually contains its bark is the charm that has been affixed inside. It is extremely easy to wear, and popular for the wooden construction that makes it light and readily able to deflect bludgeoning attacks.

Orichalcum HelmEdit

A costly helm covered in ultra-thin sheets of orichalcum, a rare metal mined in Eisenberg. Orichalcum is so hard that even thin sheets make for a helm that is far stronger and lighter than one made of steel.

Armor used by the Heike, a clan of samurai from the land of Wa, a mysterious island nation that vanished centuries ago. A rare type of mail made by painstakingly bonding together fragments that flaked away from a crystal. They cannot be mass-produced because each crystal fragment has a unique shape. Some say it takes an unfathomable length of time to complete one set of this armor.

Thick garb made from hemp fiber. It is tough and features good breathability, but it does not hold up very well in melee combat.
