Crystal Bearer

Crystal Bearers are a group of people in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. They are magically infused with trace pieces of the Crystal inside their bodies, usually in a body part. The game's protagonist, Layle, is a Crystal Bearer, and holds the power over gravity. His Crystal shard is embedded in his cheek. The mysterious Yuke, Amidatelion, is also a Crystal Bearer, and he has the power to warp objects. Another is a Clavat named Blaze, who has the ability to manipulate fire. These powers are considered both a gift and a curse.

Crystal Bearers appeared soon after the destruction of the Yuke Crystal, and the subsequent disappearance of the Yuke tribe. They never appeared in large enough numbers to unite, so most Crystal Bearers did as they pleased with their powers. Their powers were threats to society, and Crystal Bearers eventually came to be viewed as abominations.
