Template:Sideicon Template:FFIII Enemies The Crocotta is an enemy from Final Fantasy III. It is found in the Molten Cave and is weak to Ice and Water attacks. They often attack in groups of 3 or 4, and can deal heavy damage with their physical attacks, so it is advised that the player defeat them as quickly as possible. Attacking with the Freezing Blade or using the Blizzard spell from the Ice Staff, along with physical attacks, is the most efficient way to defeat these creatures.
Etymology
The crocotta (or corocotta, crocuta, leucrocotta, or yena), is a mythical dog-wolf of India or Ethiopia, linked to the hyena and said to be a deadly enemy of men and dogs.
