Cotton Robe (もめんのローブ, Momen no Rōbu?) is a recurring armor in the series. It is usually worn by magic-based classes, and provides decent Magic bonuses. It is usually the weakest type of robe.

Cotton Robe is the weakest robe in the game, and is bought in Carwen and Karnak for 350 gil. It provides +2 Defense, +4 Magic Defense, and +15 Magic Evasion, and has a Weight of 2.

Final Fantasy VIEdit

"Mutilayered cotton robe."
—Description

Cotton Robe is the weakest robe in the game, and is Strago's initial armor. It can be used by Strago, Terra, Gogo, and Relm. It provides +32 Defense and +21 Magic Defense. The Cotton Robe can be purchased at South Figaro for 200 gil.

Cotton Robe is the weakest robe in the game and is only used by the mages. It provides +10 Defense, +2 Magic Defense, and +1 Strength and Magic. It also increases the amount of damage the wearer takes from Fire-elemental attacks. It teaches the abilities Chemist and Shell.

Cotton Robes can be synthesized in Lindblum, Treno, Black Mage Village (disc 2/3), Alexandria, and Daguerreo. The price is 1,000 gil plus one Wrist and one Steepled Hat. The player can also find one in the "Between Mountains" Chocograph treasure.

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant WingsEdit

Cotton Robes is the weakest armor for Kytes. It provides +5 Defense and +10 Magic Defense. They can be bought at the shop in Chapter 3 for 400 gil.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a KingEdit

Cotton Robe is the weakest robe in the game, providing a mere 4 Defense and being bought for 21 gil.

Final Fantasy DimensionsEdit

The Cotton Robe provides a bonus of 2 to Defense, a bonus of 3 to Resistance, and 2 to Magic Evasion. It is initially equipped on Diana.

Cotton Robes is the second weakest robe in the game. It is equippable as early as level 6 and raises HP by 400 and Bravery by 27. Cotton Robes cost 1,500 gil at the shop.

Dissidia 012 Final FantasyEdit

Cotton Robes returns as a level 1 Robe that provides +488 HP and +13 Bravery. It can be obtained by trading 900 gil.
