The Corrosive Custard is an enemy in Final Fantasy XIII and is the A-ranked Mark of Mission 44. It is fought along with a Monstrous Flan and a Hybrid Flora.

Battle Edit

The Corrosive Custard occasionally uses Quake, which does considerable damage to the entire party.

Strategy Edit

For a five-star attempt, it would be best to approach with the Espionage paradigm (SAB/SAB/SYN). Using a Fortisol or a Deceptisol can help. First, the party should inflict the Hybrid Flora with at least Deshell and Imperil and switch to Tri-disaster (RAV/RAV/RAV) to dispatch it. The same process can be repeated with the Monstrous Flan and then with the Corrosive Custard.

Corrosive Custard will be a bit more difficult to stagger than the others, so switching to Relentless Assault (COM/RAV/RAV) and using a Commando to help slow the falling of the chain gauge may help. It may be necessary to switch to the Thaumaturgy (RAV/RAV/MED) paradigm or any preferred alternative containing a Medic.
