MissionsEdit

Mission Prerequisites Information
Mission #037: Village Hunt Complete Mission #003: The Cheetahs It is a good idea to have the units use the Judge and easternmost cactus to cover their backs when heading for the Coeurl.
Mission #004: Desert Peril Complete Mission #003: The Cheetahs The Coeurl here begins on a mesa and should take at least three turns to reach the party. Try to eliminate the closer enemies before the blue panther approaches.
Mission #100: Fiend Run Complete Mission #009: Magic Wood, Capture 5 monsters The four escaped monsters here should be no match for the party, unless the Ahrimans begins to KO most of the units with Roulette and the Coeurl petrifies the rest with Blaster.
Mission #052: Friend Trouble Complete Mission #012: Pale Company There are three Red Panthers and a Coeurl here. Try not to let them surround the mages.
Mission #065: Exploration Complete Mission #016: The Big Find To unlock Jagd Ahli, the monsters guarding the gate must be defeated. The Coeurl starts off on the left side of the screen.
Mission #022: To Ambervale Complete Mission #021: Hidden Vein The Coeurl here is backed up a a group of other difficult monsters, including a Big Malboro, Thundrake, and Lilith.
Mission #067: Missing Meow Complete Mission #191: Lucky Charm The runaway level 35 Coeurl here does everything but meow. Disabling it or putting it to sleep helps a lot.

EtymologyEdit

The coeurl is a fictional alien race created by science-fiction writer A. E. van Vogt. Coeurls also appear in other fantastical environments, such as the game Dungeons & Dragons (as "Displacer Beasts"). Coeurls are generally described to be feline with longer forelimbs and tentacles.
